Building disaster resilience through communal synergies.
The Nepali Project 2019 objective was to research the current and visualize future situations of Dhungentar, in the Nuwakot District in rural Nepal, in regard to community resilience and community engagement after disasters amongst different groups at the village.
The idea was to identify how interactions within the village currently take place and how they could be improved for better disaster resilience. In addition, we aimed to analyse Dhungentar’s current situation and identify points for improvements and actions that need to be taken for better resilience.
We hope that our project and the final outcomes will be scalable on different levels and perhaps create an impact also in other rural areas of Nepal.
